Maureen received a bachelor of science in bionutrition at the University of Kentucky, where she was a four year member of the track and cross country teams. Nutrition and fitness, along with her love for overall health and wellness, led to career in nutrition counseling and dietetics. Because of the prevalence of chronic medical conditions, Maureen continued her education in nursing. She earned a bachelor of science in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University and worked in cardiac critical care for over ten years prior to earning her masters and doctorate in nursing from the University of Cincinnati. She has been a nurse practitioner since 2012.
She developed a passion for aesthetic medicine, seeing its connection to overall wellness. Her philosophy for wellness is caring for the mind, body and soul ~ inside and out. Her focus is using the latest advancements and technologies to reveal glowing skin, delay aging, and enhance beauty. She received her training for aesthetic medicine at National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. Most recently she became a certified Health and Life Coach. She incorporatese these skills in the Functional Medicine and Wellness Therapies to the practice.
Maureen's love for running and fitness continues through coaching, personal training, and competitive racing.
