Cheryl brings a unique element to the massage world with her passion for women's health and her love of natural solutions. She has worked for The Christ Hospital in a research setting since 2004 and graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine with a Master’s degree in Epidemiology in 2011. The birth of Cheryl’s two children had such a positive impact on her that she decided to train with CAPPA to become a labor doula and teach childbirth education. She loves to support women so they, too, can have the births of their dreams.
In 2023 Cheryl made the leap to return to school to add massage to her skill set. During her time in the clinic she gravitated toward clients with chronic pain issues. Her areas of focus outside of Swedish and prenatal massage are relieving fascial restrictions using myofascial release and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization to bring pain relief and improved functionality. Cheryl is currently undergoing Graston Technique training and plans to become a Graston Technique Specialist by the summer of 2024.
When she’s not in a massage session, continuing her education, or supporting a mother in birth, you can find Cheryl alongside her chef husband helping him with a catering event. You may even find her playing video games with her children, walking her dogs, or digging in the garden.philosophy for wellness is caring for the mind, body and soul ~ inside and out.
